"It’s a great way to keep learning throughout the summer and get involved with the local community at the library," said Youth Services Librarian Meaghan Darling. "This year everything is gaming themed. Since it isn’t only reading-focused, we call it the Summer of Learning, instead of the Summer of Reading."
Darling noted programs include, reading, attendance, a weekly online question, and teen volunteering.
The Summer of Learning Program is open to Sparta Library Card holders entering preschool through 12th grade in the Fall of 2019. Out of town residents may purchase a 3-month summer membership to the Sparta Library for $20.
