What's the difference between a Tendon and a Ligament?

A tendon is a fibrous, connective tissue that attaches muscle to bone. It is flexible, and is capable of withstanding tension. A ligament helps connect bone to bone and stabilize the joints they surround. Tendons and muscles work together to move bones.
