What is the difference between a Strain and a Sprain?

Sprains and Strains are among the most common sports injuries. A sprain is a stretch or tear of a ligament (fibrous connective tissue that joins the end of one bone to another.)

A Strain is an injury to a muscle or a tendon (fibrous cord of tissue that attach muscle to bone.)
