— Titan Gymnastics held its first USAIGC gymnastics invitational on March 25, 2018.

Titan Gymnastics and Cheer, located on Park Lake Road, has long awaited the opportunity to host a home meet. Gymnastics clubs throughout the state came to compete. The competition, named Titan I Invitational, was an overwhelming success with over 68 USAIGC (United States Association of Independent Gymnastics Clubs) athletes in participation. Gymnasts obtaining the qualifying All-Around score are now able to move onto New Jersey’s State Championships in May this year.

Titan competed 22 of its own athletes, including Natalie Blaszak, Adriana Pietropinto and Isabella Horowitz from Sparta, along with Abigail Roeker from Green Township. Athletes competed beautifully in their respective levels and age groups. Natalie scored an impressive 9.0 on the balance beam in her Gold 13-14 division, placing first in her age group. Adriana performed her best floor routine of the season, scoring a 9.2, clinching the first place award for the Bronze 6-7 division. Isabella Horowitz placed third in the Silver 14-16 division on floor exercise, scoring a solid 9.0. Abigail competed in the Copper 6 division and scored a 9.0 on the balance beam, beautifully executing all of her skills and placing second in her age group. Additionally, Titan’s Gold level division placed first in the team competition.

Owned by Stephen and Bea Sullivan, Titan’s impressive 16,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility includes an oversized foam pit that is accessible in all directions. Two full size spring floors showcase the remarkable size of the facility, as one is dedicated to gymnastics and the other to Titan’s award winning All-Star cheer program. Titan Gymnastics and Cheer has something for every child, including recreational classes and birthday parties, all at competitive prices. For young gymnasts interested in competing in the future, Titan offers an introductory pre-team that builds the foundation for its competitive programs. The 24/7 fully equipped fitness center with certified personal trainers officially puts Titan in a class all its own.
