They initially lived in Jefferson Township; since 1986 they resided and raised their family in Sparta. Bryant adored his grandchildren and was able to spend the annual Maine family vacation with Natalie, Janelle, and Luke in August; he met Lexi shortly before his passing.

Bryant is survived by his wife of 45 years, Ruth; his children, Kristin (Kelly Bennett) of Princeton, Jason (Christine) of Ithaca, New York, and Mark, of Stony Point, New York; his grandchildren, Natalie and Janelle Muenzen, and Luke and Lexi Muenzen-Bennett; and his brother, John (Jeanne) of Hague, Virginia. He was predeceased by his parents and his brothers, Lee and Neil. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bryant’s memory to the Camp Ma-He-Tu Foundation (819 Powers Street, Baltimore, Maryland, 21211). Camp Ma-He-Tu is an overnight camp in Harriman State Park, New York, established in 1937 for girls of all backgrounds.
