Cub Scout Pack 295 made the area that much more beautiful and cleaner by picking up garbage at Sparta area parks this past weekend. Cub Scout Pack 295 is chartered by Saint Kateri Tekakwitha Roman Catholic Church and is Family Pack consisting of girls and boys, Kindergarten through 5th grade from all over Sparta and surrounding municipalities. On Sunday Oct. 21, Scouts from Pack 295 gathered to pick up garbage at Edison Park and Tyler Park from noon until 4 p.m. They enjoyed giving back to the community and made the area a cleaner place to run around and have fun in.
