First Hope Bank helping those in need

Hope - First Hope Bank's foundation was built not only on being part of the community, but by giving back to it. Developing from one branch in the town of Hope to six branches located throughout Northwest New Jersey, the bank is actively growing and increasing the communities served. First Hope Bank has been partnering with local non-profit organizations to sponsor campaigns benefitting those in need this holiday season. Stuff the Bus: On Nov. 16, First Hope Bank participated in the annual Stuff the Bus event at is Andover branch to collect non-perishable food items and monetary donations for the Sussex County Division of Social Services food pantry, working closely with Sussex County Division of Social Services and iHeart Media. This year an outstanding 42, 812 pounds of food and $14,000 in monetary donations was collected. A huge thank you to the community and partners for this very successful year. Coat Drives: First Hope also partnered with United Way of Northern NJ and Pass It Along to collect new and slightly used coats, and monetary donations. The Gift of Warmth Coat Drive and the Note in a Coat Drive provide coats to families to keep them warm in winter months.
Toy Drives: First Hope Bank partnered with Project Self-Sufficiencey for its annual Season of Hope Toy Drive. New, unwrapped gifts were collected at six locations. Toys were collected at all locations for Connect for Community's Toy Dive, which donated to the Children's Hopsital of NJ at Newark Beht Israel Medical Center.
